Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup fine white sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 cups cinnamon graham cracker crumbs (about 16 crackers)
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Do your prep work: melt the butter; break the graham crackers into fine pieces (I like to put them in a big Ziploc bag and smash them on the counter); peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces; chop the walnuts.
3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and butter until well combined. Add the graham cracker crumbs and stir until they are coated evenly. Add the apples and walnuts; mix carefully so the apples don't break.
The batter will be thick and gooey - perfect! |
4. Spread the batter into a greased medium-size cake pan (mine was 8"x10"x2"). Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
5. Let it cool for 15 minutes and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into 16 or 18 pieces and serve warm. Enjoy!
Serves: 16 or 18 (these are smaller pieces - snack-size!)
WW: 9 pts for 1/18th
